The method for establishing and achieving objectives

  1. Determine my goals and the reasons behind them. You’re more likely to follow through on a goal when it comes naturally to you.
  2. Take your time exploring the options. This is the portion your brain will want to skip. Avoid it. Take many days to just consider the possibilities of accomplishing this goal. Imagine how it will feel after it’s finished.
  3. Choose your identity while you pursue the objective. Setting a goal and being sad while pursuing it is pointless. feeling pushed to accomplish things from a place of hurry, feeling anxious, agitated, insecure, and unworthy. Make the decision to relish this process. regardless of whether you succeed in achieving the objective.
  4. Make the best guessing strategy you can. It is not necessary for you to know how you will accomplish the aim. Jot down your best estimate for achieving it. Determine that your plan suffices.
  5. Follow the plan. when your mind tries to persuade you that you ought to have accomplished more. Hold on. Reconnect with the possibility that you can accomplish this goal, and then proceed with your best-guess plan.
  6. STICK TO THE PLAN.
  7. AGAIN. STICK. TO. YOUR. PLAN.
  8. Honor following the plan. You gain confidence in yourself and the likelihood of accomplishing your goal each time you follow through on what you promised to do. The little triumphs along the road should be honored. You’ll discover that reaching the objective is only a pleasant bonus — the true treasure is all that you will obtain only by pursuing it.
  9. Continue to explore options until the deadline is reached. As our deadline draws near, our confidence in reaching the target wanes. Until the deadline is reached, don’t change it and don’t give up on your objective. Results are not produced by time. Thoughts and deeds in harmony do. You have to continue to believe and act through to the very end.
  10. Assess. Review your development once a week. What was effective? What didn’t work? How am I going to use these insights? Staying curious while responding to these three questions will keep you on task and purposeful.
